QUESTION # 3 Do Photographs tell the truth? Do they ever lie?

Photographs can tell the truth and lie equally. The truth is easier to show. You just take a pictre of something and show it to someone and tell them what is going on and theres no question if its real. The lie is more complicated and are usually photos taken into photoshop and then used. The number 1 example is when a model poses for a magazine and the photos are usually altered. It doesn't have to be a magazine either, it could be someone photoshopping thier own picture and posting it to facebook or instagram or anything similar. Technically even little things in any kind of photograph. Photogrophers can do things to brighten add or ocus on pictures of things to alter them a little, to make them look better.

Value Scale

QUESTION # 2 Which is more descriptive, a text that describes an event, or a photograph?

I think a photo describes an event better than text. If you were to describe something like scenery to someone you both arent seeing the same thing, the other person could only imagine what it looks like based off of what you told them. If you were to show them a picture of that scenery then they know exactly what you are seeing. Trying to tell someon that you saw the coolest thing ever and trying to describe it to someone isnt as descriptive if you could  just show them.

Thatcher Effect

*Look at it upside down*

QUESTION #1

I believe art is a when you take something and make it appealing, such as music, pictures, or creations. Art has many different forms and is everywhere. I think it is necessary in life, but people don't always notice it. The art of photography to me is just to take a photo of something with meaning,  some sort of creative idea, or something that you just think looks cool.
